Wat Arun

Wat Arun is a stunning Buddhist temple on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, named after the Hindu god of dawn, Aruna. The temple’s main feature is its 82-meter-high spire, decorated with colorful floral mosaics made from broken Chinese porcelain. The temple has a long history dating back to the 16th century, and it once housed the Emerald Buddha, a sacred image of Thailand.

ওয়াট অরুণ হল চাও ফ্রায়া নদীর পশ্চিম তীরে একটি অত্যাশ্চর্য বৌদ্ধ মন্দির, হিন্দুদের ভোরের দেবতা অরুণার নামে নামকরণ করা হয়েছে। মন্দিরের প্রধান বৈশিষ্ট্য হল এর 82-মিটার-উচ্চ স্পায়ার, ভাঙ্গা চীনা চীনামাটির বাসন থেকে তৈরি রঙিন ফুলের মোজাইক দিয়ে সজ্জিত। মন্দিরটির 16 শতকের একটি দীর্ঘ ইতিহাস রয়েছে এবং এটিতে একবার থাইল্যান্ডের একটি পবিত্র মূর্তি পান্না বুদ্ধ রাখা হয়েছিল।

Wat Arun es un impresionante templo budista en la orilla occidental del río Chao Phraya, que lleva el nombre del dios hindú del amanecer, Aruna. La característica principal del templo es su aguja de 82 metros de altura, decorada con coloridos mosaicos florales hechos de porcelana china rota. El templo tiene una larga historia que se remonta al siglo XVI y una vez albergó al Buda Esmeralda, una imagen sagrada de Tailandia.
